Mr. Mohammad Nurul Islam, FCMA, is the Chairman of Basic Shirts Ltd, bringing over two decades of leadership in apparel manufacturing and export. Since 2000, he has guided the company’s strategic direction—strengthening buyer relationships, expanding UK and European business, and ensuring reliable delivery, quality, and commercial performance. With a deep command of garment costing, budgeting, and factory operations, he provides senior oversight across finance, merchandising, sourcing, compliance, and shipment execution. He champions responsible manufacturing and sustainability, maintaining key certifications including ISO, SEDEX, BSCI, WRAP, GOTS/OCS, and GRS, and promotes a culture of transparency, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
